Karaage is Japanese-style fried breaded chicken balls/bits, as opposed to the Chicken Katsu, which is flat and uses something more closer to tempura breading, or "Chicken Fry" which is more like KFC. Look at it as Japanese-style chicken nuggets, except it's not flat as well and the breading (made with a lot of eggs) is a little bit thicker. This bento is a simple one. Karaage, with mayo, rice with black sesame seed sprinkles, and yellow pickled radish.
