Bento! #217: Chikin Katsu Karee

This had a very nice presentation when I bought it. But during transport, it ended up like this. It's 498 yen, and it's a "typical" katsu karee with sauce separate from the rice and the katsu itself and the pickled radish, but instead of the usual tonkatsu or pork cutlets, this one has chikin katsu, or chicken cutlets. Quite yummy and fulfilling.

I added some leftovers from my last eggplant salad. Pretty good combination, but it's something that the Japanese might not typically do. :D
